Keep Holding On

Have you ever prayed, believed, and waited -- only to look up and see nothing? Pastor Bird brought a powerful word from 1 Kings 18 this Sunday that speaks directly to that moment of discouragement. Through the story of Elijah and his servant, we were reminded that a bad report does not cancel a good promise.

Elijah heard the sound of rain before a single drop fell -- because God had already spoken it. When the servant returned six times with nothing to report, Elijah refused to quit. On the seventh look, a small cloud appeared. That cloud was not the rain. It was the evidence that the rain was on the way.

If you have been looking and not seeing anything, this word is for you. Your drought is not permanent. God is not finished. Go back and look again.
