FMBC Education Ministry
At Freewill, we believe that education is a powerful tool, not just for academic advancement, but for spiritual growth and personal transformation. Our Education Ministry is made up of current and former educators, professionals, mentors, and faithful members who love the Lord and are passionate about learning. Together, we are committed to preparing the hearts and minds of our students for both purpose and excellence.
In partnership with our Radical Praise Youth Ministry, we aim to equip and encourage students in their pursuit of higher learning, whether that means attending a four-year university, a community college, a trade school, joining a branch of the U.S. military, or stepping out as a young entrepreneur. No matter the path, we support the continual development and advancement of young minds with prayer, resources, and mentorship.
At Freewill, we don’t just celebrate graduation, we celebrate the journey.

Scholarships
We don’t just champion higher learning, we invest in it. Through generous gifts from legacy families and the church at large, Freewill funds several named scholarships each year. After a competitive application process, awards are granted to deserving students, easing financial burdens and reinforcing our belief that education is both a calling and a Kingdom asset.

College & Career Readiness
From dual‑enrollment briefings with local colleges to hands‑on essay‑writing workshops, our Education Ministry equips students for their next chapter. We connect them with admissions reps, trade‑school liaisons, military recruiters, and curated scholarship databases so they can navigate deadlines, sharpen skills, and discover funding opportunities, stepping onto campus or into basic training with confidence.

Ongoing Care & Connection
Leaving home doesn’t mean leaving family. We keep in touch with students serving in the military or studying away by sending care packages, birthday cards, and prayer updates. Regular “check‑ins” remind them that their faith family is cheering them on, ready to encourage, counsel, and celebrate every milestone along the journey.
