In Between Expectation and Manifestation | Sermon

What do we do when we know God can move, but we are still waiting for Him to move in our direction? This message takes us deep into the space between expectation and manifestation, that uncomfortable but necessary in-between where faith is truly tested. Drawing from Mark 5, we walk alongside Jairus, a synagogue leader who approaches Jesus with urgent desperation because his daughter is dying. His expectation is not blind hope. It is grounded in evidence. He has witnessed what Jesus has done for others, and that track record becomes the foundation of his faith. The same is true for us. When we look back over our own lives, we find a trail of moments where God showed up, held us together, and made ways where there were none. That history is not just memory. It is evidence that fuels our expectation for what is still to come. The message reminds us that we are not in an end season but a yet season, a season where the promise has been spoken but the possession has not yet arrived. And rather than losing heart in the waiting, we are invited to stay positioned, stay close, and keep believing.
